School Policies > Dismissal 2009/2010

For the safety of our children during school's dismissal we ask all parents to please adhere to the dismissal procedures outlined in this plan.  Turn page to see Dismissal Map for locations.

Kindergarten (3:50 p.m.)
Teachers will escort students to dismiss at the Exit 1 (School Main Entrance on Map).  Parents are to wait on the sidewalk on Warburton Avenue by the Safe Zone (Near Warburton Avenue/near Parking Lot #2).   Parents are NOT to stand or wait in cars near any of the exit doors where students are dismissing.

1-115                Exit 1 (Main Lobby Area)
1-117                Exit 1 (Main Lobby Area)

GRADES 1 & 3 (3:55 p.m.)
Teachers will escort students to dismiss at Exit 4 (Laundry Mat Parking Area on Map).  Parents are to wait on the sidewalk of Warburton Avenue away from the dismissal area to avoid blocking the laundry area parking lot.  Parents are NOT to stand or wait in cars near any of the exit doors where students are dismissing.

1-114                Exit 4 (Exit #4 / Laundry Mat Area)
3-113                Exit 4 (Exit #4 / Laundry Mat Area)
3-111                Exit 4 (Exit #4 / Laundry Mat Area)

GRADES 2 & 4  (4:00 p.m.)

Only in the event of severe inclement weather will this plan be modified.  During severe inclement weather students in grades K-6 will be lined up in their designated areas by class in the multipurpose room (located in the main lobby) during dismissal to await pick up.  Otherwise, students will be dismissed regularly in the order of dismissal by class as described above
