Reporting a Concern

If a parent has a concern and/or complaint below please find the appropriate protocols established to address these matters.   All matters of concern must be first addressed at the building level with the Principal.

Concern/Complaint Process:

  • Request a meeting to discuss any concerns first with the Parent Coordinator.  If necessary a formal Complaint Form will be completed and forwarded to the Principal for review and follow up.
  • Principal reviews complaint/concern and contacts the parents within 48 hours. Serious concerns are prioritized and responded to sooner.
  • If the matter is not resolved to the satisfaction of the parent on the school level, a parent can contact CSEE's Regional Director at Victory Education Partners at 212-786-7900.
  • If a parent is not satisfied with the response from Victory Education Partners, a parent can bring their concern/s to the CSEE Board of Trustees by addressing a letter to Victory Education Partners.
  • In efforts for building administrators to respond to any concerns, it is important that parents follow the appropriate protocol to address school-related matters.

October 1st

Circus Day
Students engage in a variety of circus themed activities; juggling, balancing, etc.

K, 1st and 2nd Grade Apple Picking Trip
Students will learn about the fall harvest and the life cycle of an apple.

Fire Safety (K-4)
Students will learn the dangers of fire and practice how to evacuate a smoky room with the Yonkers Fire Department.

Fuel Up To Play 60 5th-8th Grade
Students will engage in the “Fuel Up to Play 60”’s kick-off celebration

Smoothie Fridays!

Animal Cruelty Presentation 2nd – 3rd Grade
Presented by the Westchester District Attorney’s Office, students will learn the importance of humane treatment towards ALL creatures.

Dress Down Day for Kindergarten to 8th grade
$2.00 per student.
(All funds collected from Dress Down Day are applied to CSEE’s Theatre Fund) 

Cyberbullying Workshop for 7th and 8th Grade
Presented by the Westchester District Attorney’s Office, students will learn the importance of safe internet habits.
