APPLICATION FOR YONKERS BUS TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO CSEE FOR 2021-2022

Dear Yonkers parents/guardians,

Please be advised that all CSEE Yonkers parents must apply for Yonkers Public School Transportation (BUS) in order for their child(ren) to be eligible for transportation for the 2021-2022 school year. Please find attached to this letter the Application for Transportation Services to Non-Public Schools for 2021-2022, and the list of required documents.

Important information to keep in mind:
● Proof of Residence is required for transportation services.
● All students must be immunized pursuant to New York State law in order to receive services.
● Applications must be completed and sent via email to [email protected] on or before April 1, 2021. A separate application must be filed for each child, each year.

If you are a new applicant for the 2021-2022 school year, you must come to the Transportation Department with a photo I.D. and register your child with the school district. You will need a birth certificate and three (3) proofs of residency, (Lease or proof of ownership of house or condominium such as a deed or mortgage statement is required). See reverse side for required documents. Transportation is based on mileage; students must reside 1.5 miles walking distance or more from their school to be eligible. If you have previously submitted an application for the 2020-2021 school year, you must bring this application and three proofs of residence to the Transportation Department.

● Before leaving the transportation department, please make sure to get a copy of your stamped (dated) application as proof of completing the process. Please keep this information in a safe place.
● Transportation is based on mileage; students must reside 1.5 miles walking distance or more in order to be eligible for transportation.

Parents, if you are considering having your child(ren) participate in the Yonkers Transportation Program, please remember to complete the transportation application and provide the necessary proof of residency to the Transportation Department as soon as possible. Applications must be hand delivered on or before April 1, 2021 in order for your child to be considered for the program. You should complete this task sooner than later.
