On Tuesday, May 17, 2016, the Owls Soccer team defeated Growing up Green 4-0. Goals were scored by Fredy and Jordy Vargas, and a scorpion kick from Matthew Bello. The Owls will finish playing their last two regular season games tomorrow, Friday, May 20, against Democracy Prep Endurance, and Saturday, May 21 against Renaissance Charter School.
Yesterday, Wednesday, May 18, the Lady Owls Softball team pulled off a thrilling victory over Inwood 4-2 in extra innings. Wynter Wright slammed the game winning hit to the outfield and made play after play in the field. Faith Aleman and Chloe Tuck turned a key double play, while Destiny Medina’s pitching shut down the Inwood offense. The win was a total team effort and improves the Lady Owls record to an impressive 5-2. As they prepare for the start of the playoffs next week, the Lady Owls will conclude the regular season on Saturday, May 21 afternoon against MS 343. Go Owls!!!!
