October 24, 2016 - Bully Prevention Month, Fire Safety Day, Halloween festivities, school athletic updates, and more in our October 2016 Newsletter!

October 24, 2016 - Mark your calendars, student athletes! CSEE Fall Boys Basketball Tryouts will be held on November 2 from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM in the CSEE Gym.

All boys in Grades 6 through 8 are welcome to attend. Please remember to wear proper gym attire, including shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers. Be sure to mark your calendars, and we look forward to meeting all of our prospective student athletes!

October 21, 2016 - Dear CSEE Parents and Guardians,

CSEE asks parents to stay up to date and informed about their child’s education and ongoing activities at school by becoming active members of CSEE’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Parents are encouraged to attend the monthly PTO and Board of Trustees meetings. By working together as partners in education, we can make a difference.

October 7, 2016 - Our Owls are ready to take the field! Mark your calendars with all of our CSEE Owls upcoming Flag Football games, and stay tuned for news updates as additional dates become available as our Owls progress throughout the season!

October 7, 2016 - Come watch the CSEE Flag Football Team play against Promise 2 this Saturday, October 8th, at 11:30 AM at Eugene McCabe at 120th & Park Ave.

October 6, 2016 - CSEE is proud to announce its September Star Students of the Month!

Each month an OUTSTANDING student in every class is recognized as STAR STUDENT OF THE MONTH. Students are selected based on demonstrated exceptional academic achievement; exemplary personal and social qualities; showing a love for learning and engagement in the total school program; having good attendance, punctuality and discipline; and being a role model by setting a good example for others. October 6, 2016 - Dear Parents and Guardians,

CSEE is proud to announce its 10th Annual Halloween Bash! Scheduled for Thursday, October 27th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the Halloween Bash is planned every year as a way to give our 1st through 8th Grade students the opportunity to enjoy Halloween festivities in a safe and fun way.

Student tickets for $5.00 will be sold for this event. Please see the attached notice for additional information.

October 1, 2016 - Dear CSEE Parents and Guardians,

The Charter School of Educational Excellence considers bullying to be a serious issue. We promote a safe and secure learning environment in which students are able to learn, grow, and develop. The school also seeks to enlist the support and co-operation of all parents in the school community. Please see the following letter from our School Counselor and School Psychologist outlining the various bully free activities we have prepared for October, National Bully Awareness Month.

September 30, 2016 - Today, CSEE welcomed the firefighters of the Yonkers Fire Department who came to teach our Kindergarten through 4th Graders the importance of fire safety for Fire Safety Day. The firefighters of the Yonkers Fire Department gave a presentation and taught students how they could be safe, smart, and calm in the event of a fire.

September 29, 2016 - CSEE is happy to announce the date of its annual Halloween Parade! We invite all students in Grades K - 6 to dress up and participate in the parade, which will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016.
